RUNDOWN OF HIS POWERS
BORROWING - To borrow someone's senses is not a fun experience for the person he borrows from. He has no way of making this quiet or doing it on the down-low. In fact you can very much feel him knocking around up there. What happens is that when he touches someone he has the choice to look through their senses ( this includes any extra senses they might have )but when he does, it means that the person themselves is shut off from them. Basically if he's borrowing your sight, you essentially go blind until he lets you go. It can be traumatic and very invasive, which is why he doesn't do it very often. What this ability allows him to do though is see, hear, feel, ect whatever you're feeling. Alone it doesn't seem very useful when you think about it. After all his own senses are amazing so why would he need to 'borrow' someone elses?
MENTAL SHARING - Here is what makes the last ability important, A person's senses are directly connected to their memories. In fact your memories are designed to be triggered by certain environmental stimuli. Which is why when he decides to borrow someone's senses he also gets a direct shortcut to their mind. The example I gave in his app is that if he doesn't recognize a person, he can look through someone's eyes and then follow that connection to their memories until he finds out that person's identity. This is why having your senses borrowed is so invasive, because he can't shut this aspect of that ability off. Once he's in there and making that connection he's at the mercy of that person's mind. Whatever memories are triggered during this experience, he'll witness, whatever thoughts happen as a direct result of what he's doing/seeing/hearing/ect he'll know. Trust me it's not as thrilling as it sounds.
PAIN RELIEF - Since Chris can effectively shut off his sense of touch ( and therefore all the nerves on his skin ) he has the ability to completely ignore pain. Either by numbing himself before it happens, or shutting them off after the fact to stop the pain in its tracks.
EXTRA SENSE - he has a sort of extra/radar sense. It's a defense mechanism that allows him to appear functional even when he's not. It's like a radar mostly and it keeps him from bumping into things when he can't see or ignoring people when he can't hear. It's not foolproof, but it does help keep him out of trouble. If it's been particularly perceptive he might even hold a conversation with someone even though he can't hear a word you're saying. it all kind of depends.
SHARING - Not particularly sure about this one yet, and so he has no idea he can do this or might have the potential to do this. But since he can borrow someone's senses and funnel his own around inside of himself. It makes sense that he could technically do the reverse with someone? Basically this part of his ability allows him to show someone what he does and what it feels like. It's obviously not a process for the faint of heart. He's had his entire life to practice and grow used to having extreme senses, so don't be surprised if it knocks you on your ass the first few times.
TOUCH/SEX - he loves it, and the reason for that is because of his sense of touch. when he sleeps with someone chances are at some point in the process he's going to shut everything out and turn touch up x 5. This makes it extremely addicting and puts him in a very vulnerable position, as he's basically high and drunk all at the same time. When the deed is done he'll just lie there for hours needing to recoup and slowly drag his other senses back to life.
OVER SENSITIVITY When you can hear five times better then anyone on Earth, having someone yell in your ear is like getting hit in the face with a train. Similarly if he has touch turned up all the way and something traumatic happens the shock from the pain could either knock him out or stop his heart completely.
DELAYED REACTION - Though he's a lot faster at it then he used to be, the switch from one sense to another isn't instantaneous. Depending on how much he puts into the sense he's using, it could take longer to bring the other senses back up. A delay that makes him vulnerable in that he could be blind for a few minutes, or his eyesight could be out of focus. Things that could waste a few precious seconds of critical reaction time.
